His grace, The Right Reverend William Anthony Jordan, is the founder and Senior Pastor of The Fellowship Church of Texas in Houston. Born on May 6, 1974, in Alexandria, Louisiana, Bishop Jordan's journey in faith began early, setting the stage for a life dedicated to spreading the Gospel and nurturing spiritual growth in others. From his baptism in 1986 at the Second Nazarene Baptist Church to his current role as a transformative leader, Bishop Jordan's path has been marked by tireless commitment and profound impact.

 

His pastoral journey has taken him from the Daughters of Zion Baptist Church in Poland, LA, to The Christian Faith Baptist Church in Port Arthur, TX, and Lyons Unity Baptist Church in Houston, TX. In August 2021, answering a divine call, he founded The Fellowship Church of Texas, embarking on a new ministry and community-building chapter.

 

His influence extends far beyond the pulpit. As a professor of homiletics at East Texas Theological Seminary, he shapes the next generation of preachers. On June 27th, 2025, he was consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord's church under the auspices of The Fellowship of Christian Churches United in Service. This speaks to his growing leadership in the broader Christian community. A published author, his books "Storm Survivors" and "How to Transition 

Ministry" offer practical wisdom and spiritual insight. His power-filled, impactful messages are Rapidly 

becoming the go-to "How-to" for ministry and leadership training nationwide. In recognition of his extraordinary service, Bishop was honored with the 2024 PRESIDENT'S LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD from President Joseph R. Biden, a testament to his far-reaching influence and dedication.
